If you’re looking for a rustic hideaway with a panoramic view of Big Bear Lake, as well as lake access, look no farther than Shore Acres Lodge. Owned and managed by Big Bear Vacations, this historic lodge consists of twelve mountain-style cabins located on two acres of pine-shaded lakefront heaven. Originally operated as a gentlemen’s fishing and hunting camp in the early 1900s known as Potters Camp, today the lodge caters to vacationers of all types looking for a unique mountain experience; from couples to families to large groups for gatherings, reunions or even lakefront weddings and receptions.
Lonepine is a wonderful escape for a small family, with a treed and central location, close to the lake and town, yet offers all of the essentials for making memories in the mountains. There is a basic but efficient kitchen that allows for meal cooking, plus a full bathroom with tub is available in the hallway. The cozy living room has a toasty corner wood burning fireplace and comfy couch, plus a TV/DVD player for your enjoyment. Outside, the newly built wrap around lake view deck has a picnic table and great views, while just off the deck is a built-in Charcoal BBQ available for your use. Lonepine has it all, offering the essentials plus a serene and relaxing treed lake-side location, this little cabin is the perfect place to spend your Big Bear vacation!
