If you’re looking for a rustic hideaway with a panoramic view of Big Bear Lake, as well as lake access, look no farther than Shore Acres Lodge. Owned and managed by Big Bear Vacations, this historic lodge consists of twelve mountain-style cabins located on two acres of pine-shaded lakefront heaven. Originally operated as a gentlemen’s fishing and hunting camp in the early 1900s known as Potters Camp, today the lodge caters to vacationers of all types looking for a unique mountain experience; from couples to families to large groups for gatherings, reunions or even lakefront weddings and receptions.
Lakeside is a wonderful family cabin with panoramic lake views from the front deck, offering relaxation and serenity, yet is still within a great central location, close to the Village, dining, shopping and hiking. This cabin offers a cozy living room with comfy furnishings, a toasty stone wood burning fireplace, and a flat TV/DVD player for your enjoyment. Each of the two bedrooms have a private full bathroom attached, while the north bedroom has an additional entry door for your convenience. The basic but efficient kitchen has all the essentials for family dining, including cookware and appliances, and a small dining table area for sitting. The amazing front deck has never-ending lake views and has patio furnishings provided, plus on the side of the cabin you will find a built-in Charcoal BBQ for your use. Lakeside is the perfect location, with fishing right "outside the door" yet still within a great central location, and has the essentials that you need to make wonderful memories here in Big Bear!
